Description:

We are seeking an experienced and highly-motivated Project Coordinator to work within our Construction team. The ideal Project Coordinator would have a thorough understanding of project management within the construction industry, excellent organizational skills, and an ability to work well under pressure. The Project Coordinator will take charge of coordinating project activities, managing relevant logistics, and ensuring the successful completion of projects within the stipulated time frame and budget.

Responsibilities:

Coordinate and manage construction project activities, from initiation through delivery, to ensure timely completion.
Serve as a point of contact for project teams, contractors, and clients to ensure clear communication.
Prepare, maintain, and submit clear and concise activity/progress reports and time recording/management reports.
Collaborate with the Project Manager to develop and maintain timelines, ensure all project elements are properly installed and work is being done within the stipulated timeframe.
Assess project risks and issues, providing solutions where applicable.
Responsible for project document management including set up, organization, logging databases, tracking and coordination of all project submittals, drawings and specifications.
Conduct site checks to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety protocols.
Assist in the coordination of equipment delivery and overall logistics.
Comply with all legal and company safety protocols, rules, and regulations.

  • 2-5 years of project coordination, accounting or administrative experience in the construction industry
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills.
  • Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
