Description:
THE OPPORTUNITY:
The Project Coordinator/Designer reports to the Capital Projects Engineer in the designing, planning, and delivery of municipal capital projects as assigned. This includes design review, communication (with consultants, contractors and other stakeholders), construction inspection, budgets, scheduling, tendering, survey, project delivery, and contract and construction administration. The Project Coordinator/Designer is also responsible for preliminary and detailed design of assigned projects. Furthermore, the Project Coordinator/Designer is responsible for the coordination of annual projects/programs, surveys, contract administration, local improvements, and cost estimates.
