Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE

We are seeking a Project Coordinator to join our growing Geothermal team, in a remote working position. The successful candidate will report to the Geothermal Project Manager and will support geothermal energy planning, exploration and development. They will help ensure that project tasks are completed on time and within budget.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

Duties/responsibilities may include (but are not limited to the following):

  • Assist in the preparation and maintenance of project budgets and budget tracking
  • Assist in the intake, review, and management of project documentation to ensure quality, consistency, and the completion of deliverables
  • Liaise with communities, technical teams, government agencies, and stakeholders throughout all project stages
  • Support procurement of services, supply, installation and contract administration as required under the direction of the Project Manager
  • Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures
  • Organize, attend, and participate in stakeholder meetings
  • Maintaining communication records including minutes of meetings
  • Document and follow up on important actions and decisions from meetings
  • Prepare presentation materials for meetings
  • Assess project risks and issues and provide solutions where applicable
  • Support project procurement of engineering services, trades, and consulting services as required
  • Complete monthly progress reporting and submit reports to funders
  • Support the coordination and development of geothermal energy feasibility studies and technical reports (may include other renewable energy or infrastructure projects, from time to time)
  • Communicate technical findings and recommendations to First Nation clients and other stakeholders both in writing and verbally
  • Assist in the advancement of project proposals, including grant writing and reporting
