Job Description
Arcadis is seeking a Project Coordinator with 5-7 years of experience to join our Mobility Design and Engineer team in Ontario. This is a multidisciplinary team with expertise in Utilities, Electrical, Drainage, Roadways and Highways, Civil, and Rail and Transit. This position joins a team delivering a design-build-finance-operate-maintain contract for a subway line.
As a Project Coordinator in our growing D&E team, primary responsibilities will include:
- Assist with the coordination, management, monitor and reporting of project milestones.
- Integrate and coordinate with all disciplines as required to complete project tasks.
- Liaise with extensive teams of consultants and contractors.
- Develop and maintain logs, registers and other tables for tracking purposes.
- Liaise with document control and assist disciplines with document submissions including quality checks process.
- Previous experience with interpreting and developing project scheduling, plans, managing budget and risks including document and quality control.
- Maintain project documentation and library (electronic and hard copy)
- Ensure adherence of project team members to project plans (e.g., project management plans, schedule, communication plans)
- Manage scope; alert team to missed or out-of-scope activities; assist in preparation cost estimates to support project change orders
- Support project managers and other team members by facilitating project logistics such as meetings, conference rooms, conference calls, and so forth
- Prepare project updates for project manager and the client, including presentations, status reports, and risk and action registers, as necessary
Qualifications
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field
- 5-7 years experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous experience working on large and complex rail/transit projects from concept to delivery and/or P3 experience
- Proficiency with FTP, Project Wise, Share Point, ISO, MS Office
- PM+ experience is an asset
- Experience in Revit, Bluebeam, Aconex, and AutoCAD in order to navigate and identify file content
