Description:

Compensation: $45 - 50/Hr
Job Title: Project Coordinator II
Location: Spring, TX
Schedule: 5 days on / 2 days off (Approx. 40 Hrs/Week)
Summary: Provide office coordination in support of geophysical vendor field operations. Will ne deploying new technology software. Will be interfacing with vendors to mitigate issues.

Job Responsibilities Summary:

  • Travel 4-8 days per month
  • Coordinates the disposition of RFIs, NCRs and Field Changes
  • Assists managing design changes throughout the project lifecycle
  • Addresses and solves day to day project coordination challenges supporting the PM in the identification, logging, analysis and resolution/mitigation of issues and risks
  • Assists in the preparation of Risk Management Sessions
  • Assists in the preparation of Lessons Learned Sessions
  • Assists in the preparation of Project Gate Review Packages

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Advanced knowledge of Project Management Processes; Project Management Professional (PMP) certification an asset
  • Experience in project coordination and/or technical experience in large Design & Build
  • Must have excellent communication skills, possess high level of integrity, and willingness to build trust and accountability in inter-personal relationships while working in team setting
  • Must be fluent in both written and spoken English
  • Must be proficient in current communication mediums and technologies (i.e., Microsoft Office, telecommunications, email, meetings)
  • Must be in good physical condition and shall comply with all project health and safety requirements (including any vendor, vessel or country-specific certifications required to work offshore)
  • Must comply with all requirements per the agreement
  • Certifications must be current and not due to expire for the anticipated duration of the project
  • Experience dealing with general contractors and design sub consultants
  • Office management experience is a plus
