Description:

Federated Co-operatives Limited (FCL) is hiring a Project Coordinator on a permanent basis to work on our exciting Energy Roadmap within our Major Projects team in Regina, SK. Not currently living in Regina? FCL will offer a relocation package to support your move.
This role will support the planning, coordination, and execution of projects by managing documentation, schedules, communication, and compliance across all stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety and efficiency.
The FCL Energy Roadmap is our most ambitious transition plan yet, driving us toward a low-carbon economy. This project is set to reshape the energy landscape and empower communities across Western Canada to embrace a more sustainable tomorrow. In this role, you will be instrumental in providing support to this innovative and highly impactful effort.

WHO YOU ARE:

You are looking for an opportunity in project coordination and:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience in project coordination and project administration. Experience in the petroleum and/or the oil and gas industry is an asset.
  • Have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, applied science, or equivalent from a recognized institution. A diploma or certification program in Project Management or Engineering Technology will also be accepted. (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered)
  • Have strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience with project management software and adherence to departmental standards.
  • Ability to analyze data, prepare technical reports, and ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate meetings, ensuring relevant background information, materials, and reports are provided; resolve routine problems as they arise and prepare charts, graphs, or tables for presentations.
  • Manage project documentation including contact lists, NDA tracking, project information, photos, team timesheets, and reports distributed internally and externally.
  • Assist in the development and maintenance of business unit guidelines, procedures, and work practices, while conducting audits to ensure compliance with established processes.
  • Coordinate project schedules, budgets, risk mitigation strategies, deliverables, and clarify roles and responsibilities across all stakeholders, ensuring regulatory requirements are met.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements, monitor KPIs, and research best practices to enhance operational efficiency and project outcomes.
