The Project Coordinator will provide administrative support for a projecy funded by the Substance Abuse Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) that aims to expand the number of nurse practitioners prepared to provide care for substance use disorders across the Philadelphia region and into rural counties in Delaware and New Jersey. This project will provide educational opportunities to graduate nursing students as well as training opportunities to sites across these regions on trauma-informed substance use care. The Project Coordinator works collaboratively and effectively with project stakeholders to ensure successful completion of projects on time, within budget, and within scope. Assisting with oversight of all aspects of projects from creative educational development and design, planning, execution, monitoring, quarterly SAMHSA reports, closure with institutional review board protocols submissions, team meetings, study websites, information technology needs and other grant management tasks.

EDUCATIONAL/TRAINS REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in education and experience plus two (2) years of related experience.
  • Master’s degree preferred.

EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in research or project management.
  • Demonstrated experience uses project management tools.

Responsibilities:

  • Arrangement of team meetings including coordination of meetings between team members, drafting and circulating agendas and meeting minutes
  • Updates the study website with relevant, accessible and timely information
  • Assists with Institutional Review Board (IRB) applications:
  • Inputs required information for IRB applications and modifications
  • Monitors IRB renewal dates and required updates
  • Works with PIs to ensure IRB compliance
  • Assists with refinement of survey and qualitative interview guides
  • Assists in data collection including conducting qualitative interviews
  • Assists with development of semi-annual and annual grant progress reports
  • Assists with conference presentations and posters, grants and manuscript publications
  • Formats according to conference instructions, author and grant guidelines
  • Builds EndNote files for manuscripts and grants
  • Other administrative functions to comply with federal funding requirements
  • Interacts with co-workers, visitors, and other staff consistent with the values of Jefferson.
