An exciting opportunity awaits you at Memorial Sloan Kettering (MSK). Are you passionate about contributing to a mission-driven organization? The Office of General Counsel is seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator to join our team and support the vital work of MSK.

KEY QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A minimum of 2 years of project management experience, preferably in a legal setting.
  • Strong computer and software proficiency.

  • Excellent writing skills with sharp attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple high-priority projects simultaneously and build strong client relationships.
  • Capability to work closely with senior legal leadership.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and execute all assigned projects for in-house legal practice groups, ensuring smooth and efficient operations within the legal department.
  • Perform a high level of administrative and executive duties, all while maintaining strict confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Triage and address various requests and questions directed to the legal team, ensuring timely and accurate responses.
  • Maintain strict confidentiality of all legal documents, communications, and activities within the department.
  • Coordinate annual risk management programs, ensuring compliance and thoroughness in processes.
  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date statistics for trending and analysis of incoming inquiries, informing ongoing work.
  • Participate in continuous quality review of work and processes, striving for excellence.
  • Advise and follow up with relevant individuals and departments concerning responses to legal documents, claims, and litigation.
  • Collect documents and information as requested by legal staff, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Acquire and notarize signatures for verification of legal documents, ensuring all paperwork is properly executed.
  • Generate charts and reports as needed, providing valuable data and insights.
  • Manage calendar, schedule meetings and conference calls, and coordinate meeting rooms for internal and external gatherings, arranging for any necessary equipment.
  • Screen and review mail and incoming calls, taking messages or directing them appropriately.
  • Track expenses for staff and non-employees; process reimbursements and payments efficiently.
  • Prepare purchase requisitions, work orders, and process invoices for payment, ensuring all financial transactions are handled smoothly.
  • Gather information and perform data entry in MSKTime, contributing to accurate record-keeping.
