Description:
- Location: Pacekids’ North (808 55 Ave NE Calgary)
- Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8:30am – 4:00pm, with some evening and weekend work to support move schedule
- Temporary contract position until September 2025
- Position to commence as determined with the successful candidate
- Paid flexible sick and personal time for all staff, accrued at 5.38% of hours worked
- Paid observance of 13 holidays
- 3 weeks annual paid vacation
Responsibilities:
- Develop a comprehensive move plan and timeline in collaboration with senior management team and staff
- Coordinate with key stakeholders to outline the scope, budget, and logistics for the move
- Arrange transportation and handling for all furniture, equipment, technology, and supplies from the current to the new location
- Work with movers and third-party vendors to schedule packing, transport, and setup
- Conduct a thorough inventory of all items to be moved and assess equipment needs for the new facility
- Requisition or order new equipment, furniture, and supplies as needed to meet the requirements of the new facility
- Ensure all moving activities comply with best practices and relevant safety regulations
- Oversee risk assessments and develop plans to address potential hazards associated with the move
- Create and maintain a detailed schedule for all phases of the move, ensuring minimal disruption to Pacekids operations
- Communicate move-related information and updates to all staff and stakeholders
- Oversee the setup and arrangement of equipment and furniture in the new location, ensuring everything is operational
- Conduct a final walk-through with staff to confirm readiness before opening
