Description:

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Previous experience with fit out projects, Display and furniture installs
  • Knowledge of Kitchens, Bathrooms, Tiling installation.
  • Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices.
  • Excellent time keeping and ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Have a desire to continuously learn and improve processes.
  • Must have Good IT skills and digitally savvy.
  • Microsoft skills including Excel.
  • Self-motivation and ability to work on own initiative as well as part of a team.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to problem solve.
  • Experience managing complex design interfaces.
  • Looking after Kitchen Installations and helping to Manage projects in progress.
  • Good commercial awareness and the ability to challenge contractors.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Full UK Driving Licence,
  • Comfortable with regular travel including periods of stay away from home.

Responsibilities:

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are currently recruiting Project Coordinator / Manager to join the team in Watford with experience / good understanding of fit-out projects and kitchen installs. This is a position that requires a proactive approach as you would need to work unsupervised and autonomously effectively managing your own time. Have excellent organizational and communication skills and be able to manage a varied workload on your own initiative. Ability to plan, arrange, coordinate, execute and control projects from start to finish. You will oversee the tendering process and ensure that projects have a clear scope of deliverables before developing a detailed project plan. You will plan and control project timescales, costs and progress with regular updates. You will strive for quality, safety, cost, and schedule improvements at every opportunity. Challenge and seek to improve the project deliverables.

MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Managing a project from set-up to handover and evaluation
  • Monitor program of works and identify shortfalls and solutions.
  • Planning of resources, including materials, labour and sub-contractors
  • Responsible for health and safety from pre-contract stage through to project completion.
  • Deliver projects to agreed program of works, standards, schedule, and budget.
  • Manage and ensure team are complying with project specification.
  • Control and analysis of cost.
  • Attend and contribute to client and contracts meetings.
  • Collate, manage, and sign off works completed and compare this to payment applications.
  • Record and understand variations to cost control.
  • Ensure Quality of workmanship by Inspection, Action Planning & Reporting.
