Description:
PRIME BOILER SERVICES (PBS) IS SEEKING A PROJECT COORDINATOR FOR THEIR GROWING PMO DIVISION.
PBS has several levels of project complexity and Project Coordinators are assigned to projects that have a lower degree of complexity. PBS Project Coordinators are responsible for planning, executing, controlling monitoring, and closing small projects to deliver on time and within budget. To succeed in this role, a proactive approach is a must, combined with getting work done with complete, accurate detail and in accordance with company standards and policies. The motivation for this position comes from a strong sense of duty to deliver and execute our projects to meet expectations. The Project Coordinators also assist Project Managers with more complex projects.
PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred or equivalent experience
- Advanced skill with MS Projects and MS Office including Excel
- Project Controls knowledge
- Strong understanding and practice of formal project management methodologies.
- Interested in working towards Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)

Responsibilities:
- Using knowledge of Project Controls, assisting with coordination of cross-discipline team members to make sure that all parties are on track with project requirements, deadlines, and schedules.
- Meeting with project team members to identify and resolve issues for their level of project
- Submitting project deliverables and ensuring that they adhere to quality standards.
- Preparing status reports by gathering, analyzing, and summarizing relevant information.
- Assist with establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.
- Assist with facilitating change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget.
- Assist with conducting post-project evaluation and identifying successful and unsuccessful project elements.
