Responsibilities:

THE ROLE

We are looking for a research project coordinator to play a crucial role in the successful delivery of the large research institute, RISCS (Research Institute for Sociotechnical Cyber Security).
You will develop and manage relationships with stakeholders to ensure successful delivery of the programme of work, proactively maintaining links with these key stakeholders. The RISCS Project Coordinator will support day to day administration for the Research Institute, including monitoring of budgets and delivery of work plans.
This role is part of the Faculty’s Industrial Liaison Office. This connects you with around 55 research professional staff in similar roles and provides support and a team environment.
We welcome applications from interested candidates wishing to work part time (minimum 14 hrs/week) up to 21 hrs/week.

WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING?

  • Support the RISCS Manager and RISCS Director in the project management of the programme of work, including: day to day administration; management and delivery of work plans; monitoring of budgets; quality assurance (QA); communication and relationship management, supporting meetings and coordinating logistics/administration for visiting academics, running events or overseeing evaluation activities.
  • Market the RISCS work to internal and external partners, through all relevant channels, including website, social media, video content and events, seeking input from academic and/or industry partners on content ideas.
  • Act as primary point of contact for matters related to the designated project and activities, building lasting working relationships to ensure that all research reporting needs are appropriately met.
  • Analyse data/statistics and make first line assessment of issues to make recommendations to the RISCS Manager and RISCS Director.
