Responsibilities:

ABOUT THE ROLE:

Leveraging our recent success in securing projects within both metro and regional Australia and bolstered by a robust pipeline of forthcoming work, we are seeking a dedicated Project Coordinator / Senior Project Coordinator to enhance our team. This role offers the unique opportunity to contribute across a diverse array of projects within our expansive portfolio located predominately in South Australia (SA) and the Northern Territory (NT).
Reporting directly to the Construction Manager and working alongside Project Managers, your primary responsibility will be to provide input and management of quality, ensuring technical / scope compliance, and streamlining processes throughout the project lifecycle, starting from post tender phase to execution and final close-out. This role plays a crucial role in coordinating stakeholder engagement and overseeing project delivery processes to achieve our stringent quality objectives.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare, evaluate, and implement suite of management plans and other essential technical / scope documentation across various projects.
  • Contribute to the strategic planning and timely execution of projects within the allocated budget and scope.
  • Monitor and report construction timelines, budgets and cash flow to optimise resource allocation.
  • Engage in proactive communication with stakeholders to foster collaborative relationships.
  • Demonstrate leadership and foster teamwork through exemplary communication skills, guiding internal teams and external contractors.
  • Regular internal project reporting to maintain transparency and alignment with project goals and objectives.

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Degree in Construction Management, Project Management or Engineering.
  • Commitment to Work Health & Safety and Environmental standards.
  • Demonstrated experience working as a Project Coordinator or Project Engineer for a Head Contractor / or Managing Contractor in the commercial sector.
  • Proven industry experience on $3-30m+ brown or greenfield building projects.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to collaborate with project teams, management, suppliers, subcontractors, and client stakeholder groups.
  • Excellent communication skills(written and verbal), problem-solving and critical thinking capabilities
  • Refined commercial acumen and experience in contract administration, claims, reporting, budget, expenditure, and finance.
  • Experience in Procore and Pronto or similar programs would be advantageous
  • Ability to travel to our regional construction sites as required. In return, you will be provided with LAHA and Project allowances.
  • Construction White Card and Current driver’s license.
  • National police clearance (NPC).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain an Australian Defence security clearance (DCAC).
  • Proficiency using MS Project, and other MS office suite programmes
