As a member of the Tax Technology Consulting (TTC) practice, you will have the opportunity to be at the forefront of the integration of technology and tax. Our team is dedicated to developing and deploying cutting-edge automation and analytic solutions that enable RSM to lead in the middle market. We draw inspiration from tax planning ideas, market needs and technological innovations to craft service offerings that deliver real results for our clients.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Finance/Accounting, Business Administration, or relevant educational or professional experience
- 2-3 years of related experience in related field
- Advanced analytical, written and verbal communication skills required
- Strong interpersonal and relationship building skills
- Basic client interaction skills
- Ability to coordinate and work effectively with teammates, end-users and leadership
- Ability to work in a virtual team environment
- Ability to complete work in an acceptable timeframe and manage a variety of detailed tasks and responsibilities simultaneously and with accuracy to meet deadlines, goals, objectives and satisfy internal and external customer needs related to the job
- Familiarity with agile project methodology
- Ability to travel as needed
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Previous work experience in a professional services and/or IT setting
- Experience working with analytics, data management, statistics and accounting applications
- Knowledge and experience with tax compliance or financial systems

At RSM, an employee’s pay at any point in their career is intended to reflect their experiences, performance, and skills for their current role. The salary range (or starting rate for interns and associates) for this role represents numerous factors considered in the hiring decisions including, but not limited to, education, skills, work experience, certifications, location, etc. As such, pay for the successful candidate(s) could fall anywhere within the stated range.
Compensation Range: $65,500 - $105,000
Individuals selected for this role will be eligible for a discretionary bonus based on firm and individual performance
Responsibilities:
- Coordinating project schedules, resources, equipment and information
- Liaising with clients to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives
- Ensuring that clients’ needs are met as the project evolves
- Ensuring project delivery team remains on time, on budget and within scope and proactively identifying risks to achieving these goals
- Set up and maintain project management software (Asana or Smartsheet) including: Primary Project Board, Requirements/User Story Board, Testing Scripts/Scenario Board, RAID board
- Preparation of project budgets
- Set up file sharing SharePoint Online portals
- Create meeting minutes and “what we heard” documents
- Transcribe and summarize client discovery and whiteboarding workshops
- Schedule partner level and client review
- Prepare weekly status updates and project financials
- Prepare weekly WIP summary including actual vs forecast
