This role joins a team on a journey, with significant future potential in a global, sophisticated, and complex enterprise.
Scope of Position
Reporting to the Program Director, Transformation Office, the Project Coordinator will be an important contributor to projects within a multi-year transformation of the Capital Markets operating model, including the modernization of technology and data capabilities to support our investment teams.
The incumbent will provide support to the program management function by planning and monitoring projects to ensure they meet objectives, on time, and on budget. The role will work directly with leaders and subject matter experts in the Transformation Office, OMERS Capital Markets businesses, and across the enterprise to ensure teams are aligned on project delivery.
We believe that time together in the office is important for OMERS and Oxford, the strength of our employees, and the work we do for our pension members. Our flexible hybrid work guideline requires teams to come to the office a minimum of 3+ days per week.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Undergraduate degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Accounting, or Finance.
Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage time against competing priorities
An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools, and an innate desire to learn, grow and develop
Outstanding record of leadership and academic, extracurricular, and professional achievement
Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
Interpersonal agility and ability to connect with stakeholders
BONUS EXPERIENCE/QUALIFICATIONS::
Consulting, professional services, or entrepreneurial experience
Exposure to project delivery methodologies
Exposure to capital markets, data and/or investment technology
Responsibilities:
Provide project management support including status reporting, monitoring and updating risks and issues, project plan updates, onboarding/offboarding of external vendor resources, SharePoint administration, and meeting coordination including the documentation of minutes.
