Description:

Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Part-time Project Coordinator to join the Tri-County Vaccine Improvement Program (TC-VIP). This grant-funded initiative aims to enhance the uptake of adult vaccines through evidence-based programs, with a particular focus on outreach to the Hispanic community.

  • Coordinate outreach and training activities with key partners and community members, especially within the Hispanic community.
  • Monitor the progress of project activities, ensuring alignment with program goals.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive records of project activities.
  • Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports for the investigator, administrators, funding agencies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Location: Must reside in the Vernal or Roosevelt, Utah area.
  • Language: Bilingual applicants who speak Spanish are highly preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in project coordination or a related field is beneficial.

Responsibilities:

  • Coordinating outreach and training activities.
  • Assist with administration vaccine training events for healthcare providers and the public.
  • Develop vaccine education medial including videos, flyers, social media posts, and others to promote general knowledge and uptake of vaccines.
  • Assist with data collection and evaluation.
  • Collaborate with USU Extension and key partners to develop and host vaccine uptake programs.
  • Plan and implement monthly vaccine education events.
  • Attend all staff meetings and trainings.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • One year of professional experience working in project coordination
  • Basic understanding of health education and promotion principles
  • Must be able to work effectively with staff, community partners, and the public
  • Basic Computer skills (Microsoft Applications, Google Drive, Gmail, Social Media)
  • Must maintain a high level of confidentiality
  • Afternoon & Evening schedule that is open and/or flexible

  • Strong organization and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Self-starter, good follow-through
  • Ability to work with little supervision

Advertised Salary: $15.00 per hour ADA:
