Become a part of our dynamic construction team and play a crucial role in venturing into new markets and spearheading inventive construction techniques. Vancouver Pile Driving Ltd. is looking for a passionate Project Coordinator to assist in maintaining our status as pioneers in the construction sector.

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS:

  • 5 years of heavy construction project experience with geotechnical engineering experience
  • University degree in Engineering or Civil Technology diploma
  • Proficiency in cost control, estimating, and planning software tools such as Excel, AutoCAD, and MS Project

Responsibilities:

  • Review project plans and specifications to understand requirements
  • Prepare detailed estimates for labor, materials, equipment, and permits
  • Develop schedules for labor, materials, and equipment
  • Advise field staff on construction procedures based on estimate assumptions
  • Handle project costing and tracking
  • Manage accounting documentation and cost codes
  • Oversee subcontractor management, invoicing, and progress claims
  • Manage change orders and tracking
  • Coordinate material and equipment deliveries
  • Support Site Supervisor with manpower needs
  • Implement quality control programs
  • Collaborate with HR team on organizational processes and policies
  • Assist in health and safety program implementation
