Wrapex is seeking a Project Coordinator local to the Lloydminster area.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS
- Minimum 3-5 years experience in project coordination (insulation is considered a strong asset)
- Excellent ability to read and interpret documents such as safety documents, maintenance instructions, procedure manuals, and blueprints
- Ability to effectively write routine reports and business correspondence, and demonstrate practical problem-solving ability
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and highly motivated self starter able to work with minimal supervision or in small teams
- A high regard for health and safety in the workplace
- Confident in leading and participating in safety meetings, daily toolboxes, and hazard assessments prior to commencing daily work activities

Responsibilities:
- Assist and support the Project Manager of Insulation in ordering and tracking of all material and supplies purchased for each project; communicate the status of material ordered in a timely manner; document and follow up on material overages, shortages and damages.
- Assists in decision making regarding day-to-day operations with the guidance and support from the Project Manager; including but not limited to general inquires, day-to-day operations and issues related to Insulation projects.
- Accurately set up and track projects; including but not limited to key productivity indicators (KPI) and cost management.
- Attend and participate in weekly project management meetings related to the Insulation projects. Ensure action items are documented with a specific deliverable and date to be achieved. Provide regular feedback tot he Project Manager regarding the status of the projects they are managing and lessons learned.
- Follow job opening procedures and set up budgets on every job; the Project Coordinator is responsible for setting up project budgets based on the estimate received from the Estimating Department.
- Review project schedules and collaborate with the Project Manager to ensure project schedules are met and field employees are meeting pre-established deadlines.
- Assist and support Project Manager with Change Management initiatives.
- Provide the Project Manager with detailed information on costs and forecasted costs and understand, in detail how monthly forecasting of costs is completed.
- Review, update and ensure Monthly Progress Reports (MPR’s) and monthly forecasting of costs are submitted on time with appropriate detail.
- Collaborate with multiple departments to ensure the success of all projects, including field superintendents, subcontractors, project accountants etc.
- Always review the bid drawings and note any changes between the drawings and Issued For Construction (IFC) drawings.
- Assist Project Manager with oversight of field employees, including completion of deliverables, ensuring that roles and responsibilities are understood and timesheet remittance is completed by the due date.
