Description:

POSITION OVERVIEW:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for tracking daily project costs, producing documentation, reconciling project invoices, and completing relevant reports.
The Project Coordinator will foster relationships and collaborate with various stakeholders across the organization’s lines of business and will contribute to the company’s high-performance culture that promotes empowerment, engagement, and innovation.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & ABILITIES:

  • Post Secondary education in Civil Engineer Technologist (CET) program or similar
  • 2+ years of demolition and/or construction experience
  • Ability to read and interpret project drawings
  • Exceptional communication and organizational skills
  • Diligent eye for detail, concern for accuracy
  • Ability to prioritize conflicting priorities and manage time efficiently
  • Experience and comfort using various techniques, including Microsoft Office
  • Effective decision-making and conflict-management skills

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to:

  • Work closely with multiple stakeholders, including – Customers, managers, supervisors, health and safety, and contractors.
  • Coordinate project administrative functions, drawing control, change order control, trade tendering, purchasing, and general office duties
  • Assist in cost estimates
  • Track project updates and communicate changes as required
  • Maintains project files, records, systems, and procedures,
  • Gathering and analyzing data as required
  • Assists with the preparation of progress reports
  • Participate in site meetings
  • Proactively work to resolve issues and problems
  • Handling sensitive and/or confidential information with tact
  • Proofread plans and procedures,
  • Other duties as assigned by Management
