Project Delivery Coordinator

Mackay Regional Council is seeking a qualified and experienced person to lead a dedicated team of Project Managers to deliver on a significant portion of Council’s Contract delivered Capital Works Program. The role will be responsible for the delivery of a range of Renewals, Upgrades and New projects for councils varying asset classes. The successful applicant will have strong leadership, project management, organisational and systems and processes background.
This is a permanent full-time position.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

• Degree in Engineering, Building and Construction, Project Management; OR
• Lesser formal qualifications with a combination of experience, expertise and competence sufficient to perform the duties required at this level.
• QLD “C” Class Drivers Licence or interstate equivalent.
• Experience in managing complex, multi-disciplinary contracts and projects using industry- standard methodologies, including planning, forecasting, budgeting, reporting, design, construction, commissioning of infrastructure, and supervising staff, consultants, contractors, and suppliers.
