Cyber criminals advertise fake job adverts with prestigious employers as a way of stealing information or even defrauding individuals out of money. In the most sophisticated cases, they will set up fake websites, which have a similar address to companies like Unilever. They even conduct fake telephone interviews and then offer candidates a role with the proviso they pay a fee for background checks or to cover work visa costs. These types of attacks are becoming more common as more people are looking for employment in the economic climate.
Responsibilities:
JOB PURPOSE
As part of the Project Engineering function, the candidate will lead digital, automation and process optimization activities, providing standardization and compliance whilst ensuring transformational change activities are delivered seamlessly into the FMCG production environment.
The candidate will be an established practitioner in the field of automation, able to demonstrate mastery in machine and system integration, helping drive our zero-loss ambition.
RESPONSIBILITIES
The successful candidate will be part of a project team responsible for the implementation of innovation projects as directed by the Engineering Project Delivery Manager. There will also be a need to lead the implementation of small projects and trials independently of the larger team. Further responsibilities will include:
- Building World-class factories will eliminate losses and ensure that we do not pass on the cost of inefficiencies to our customers and consumers
- Support and Training: Train the Engineering Team in all aspects of control systems
- Rewrite/Modify: Existing PLC/HMI programs to improve production, reduce energy costs and standardise
- Ensure that design/installation is complete in a timely fashion and in line with Unilever’s standards
- Managing site installations ensuring the site’s safety standards and contactor management procedures are rigorously applied (permit to work etc)
- Implement new or modified Electrical Control Systems
- Identify, Design and Implement the control systems to replace obsolescence
- Identify and Upgrade non-compliant Machinery Safety Systems including Design, Implementation and Validation
- Implement and Maintain Vision and Barcode Systems
- Integration and validation of energy saving equipment
- Develop handover package for all technical documentation and Software backups
- Working with the Procurement team as required to complete the purchasing of the required items/equipment
- Digital factory operating system validation for all new equipment
- Write specifications and scope documents to the correct standards as to allow the tendering process for key installations
- Leading the design, implementation and commissioning plans of new packaging line equipment through full validation programs (FAT, SAT, IQ, PQ etc).
- Management of snag lists alongside the launch team ensuring items are closed out at pace
- Conducting root cause analysis to understand problems and supporting in solving/close out
- PLC: Siemens S7 PLC/HMI S7 300, S7 200, S7 1200, S7 1500 and S5
- Safety Systems: Siemens Safety PLCs, Asi Safe, PNOZ Multi and Hard Wired Systems.
- Software: Simatic Manager, WinCC Flexible, Protool, Tia Portal, Step 5 and Simotion Scout.
- Inverter Drives: Danfoss, Siemens, Lenze, Control Techniques
- Servo Systems: Siemens, SEW, Control Techniques
- Vision: Keyence and Sick
