THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL DEMONSTRATE THE FOLLOWING KEY SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES:
- A degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent qualifications and/or, with extensive relevant experience.
- High level of proven innovative and sustainable design knowledge in all types of local government projects, particularly but not limited to the areas of roads, stormwater, footpaths, cycleway, street lighting, traffic, landscape, open space and general community projects.
- Proven ability to design all types of projects using AutoCAD and associated products.
- Current Class C drivers licence.
- Knowledge of development planning and environment issues.
- Possess analytical and creative practical problem-solving skills.
- Demonstrates effective oral and written communication skills.
- Demonstrates teamwork and leadership skills.
- Be committed to excellent customer service and ongoing process improvements.

Responsibilities:
Given the current development in the Campbelltown LGA, the successful candidate will be responsible for delivering infrastructure-related design projects including detailed design, reviews and documentation for, but not limited to roads, stormwater and drainage, car parks, street lighting, footpaths, cycle ways, detailed quantity and cost estimation, development of engineering specifications, traffic management, public domain, open space and assessment of development applications.
