Description:

We have an exciting opportunity for a Project / Design Manager to join our growing Rail team as part of our Transport Infrastructure business in Ireland. The role will be based in one of our offices across Republic of Ireland (Dublin, Galway, Cork, Sligo, Kilkenny), with flexibility on location.
You will lead on the management and delivery on an exciting major rail line project we have recently won and provide clients with technical excellence through our delivery of projects.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead, direct, and coordinate multi-disciplinary technical and environmental teams, being accountable to the Client for project delivery
  • Work alongside Programme and Commercial Managers to ensure the technical delivery of Rail projects
  • Manage client and stakeholder relationships to achieve desired project outcomes
  • Set an example for health, safety and welfare on the project and instil a strong safety culture within the delivery team
  • Lead and contribute to the development of high performing teams from multiple technical disciplines and specialisms (including subconsultants)
  • Provide guidance, support, and mentorship to aspiring project managers
