Description:

As a project development specialist, you will be responsible for the planning, development, and execution of various projects while partnering with other teams and vendors.
We practice a remote first working model, leveraging in person interactions at our head office, in beautiful Vancouver, BC, for strategic, collaborative, and social purposes.

What you will do:

  • Manage overall project timelines and ensure on budget delivery of merchandising, display, and minor construction projects.
  • Support Store Design Leadership, and Program and Product Managers on the deployment of large-scale projects.
  • Assemble and coordinate project teams of SMEs, Specialists, and Managers from various functions throughout the business.
  • Partner with the Store Design Leadership team to resolve any issues and risks.
  • Collaborate with external vendors, partners, and third-party labor teams on projects.
  • Work closely with business owners, Program Managers, Store Design Director, and other stakeholders throughout the project to communicate projects updates and statuses.
  • Create and maintain accurate documentation for projects and processes. Work with a management tool for project submissions and to help provide guidance for users.
  • Contribute ideas, proactively bring up challenges and collaborate to determine potential solutions to those challenges.

What we are looking for:

  • 2+ years of experience with the project management process.
  • Experience with MS Suite.
  • Previous experience with a Big Box retailer at the Management/Supervisory level.
  • Bachelor’s degree in business or communications field.

$65,000.00 - $70,000.00
Starting pay offered will consider skills and experience. Your pay can grow as you build your career with us.
