We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced Project Director to PMCM activities for a prestigious roads and highways construction project in Riyadh. As the Project Director, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing all aspects of a major roads and highways construction project in Riyadh. You will be responsible for providing strategic direction, leadership, and technical guidance to ensure the successful delivery of the project within scope, schedule, and budget. Your role will involve close collaboration with clients, stakeholders, and project teams to drive excellence in performance, innovation, and safety throughout the project lifecycle.
Your new role, what’s involved?
- Lead the overall project management and execution strategy for construction activities, ensuring alignment with project objectives, client requirements, and regulatory standards.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with clients, contractors, and key stakeholders, serving as the primary point of contact for project-related matters.
- Provide strategic direction and oversight to project managers, engineers, and technical teams, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets, and monitor progress against key performance indicators, taking proactive measures to address issues and mitigate risks.
- Review and approve technical documents, design drawings, and construction specifications to ensure compliance with project requirements and industry standards.
- Conduct regular site visits and inspections to assess construction progress, quality of workmanship, and adherence to safety protocols and regulatory requirements.
- Manage project finances, including budgeting, forecasting, and cost control measures, to optimize resource utilization and maximize project profitability.
- Lead project meetings, workshops, and presentations to provide updates on project status, address technical challenges, and solicit feedback from stakeholders.
- Drive innovation and best practices in construction methodologies, materials, and technologies to enhance project efficiency, sustainability, and value.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, quality management systems, and health, safety, and environmental regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
