Description:

Responsibilities

  • Support the Head of Department (HOD) in coordinating upgrades for commercial buildings, including PV panels, façade lighting, toilets, and lobbies.
  • Assist in developing project briefs, proposals, design intents, contractor pre-qualification, and tender documents.
  • Oversee contractor work and progress to ensure timely completion, adherence to performance requirements, quality plans, and budgets.
  • Coordinate with stakeholders and monitor contractor performance against the project plan.
  • Manage contractor activities to ensure coordination with stakeholders, tenants, subcontractors, and building operations.
  • Ensure timely submission of work schedules, progress reports, and highlight issues to the HOD.
  • Resolve technical or site issues during project execution and maintenance periods to prevent delays.
  • Attend meetings and site inspections, assess contractors’ claims and variations, and prepare or review reports.
  • Maintain proper project documentation and administration.
  • Ensure compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations.
  • Assist the HOD with M&E operations, site inspections, and feasibility studies for new projects.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • 2-3 years of project management experience.
  • Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Knowledgeable in project management processes.
  • Service-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Resourceful and adaptable to changing environments.
  • Effective communicator with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.
