Description:
Responsibilities
- Support the Head of Department (HOD) in coordinating upgrades for commercial buildings, including PV panels, façade lighting, toilets, and lobbies.
- Assist in developing project briefs, proposals, design intents, contractor pre-qualification, and tender documents.
- Oversee contractor work and progress to ensure timely completion, adherence to performance requirements, quality plans, and budgets.
- Coordinate with stakeholders and monitor contractor performance against the project plan.
- Manage contractor activities to ensure coordination with stakeholders, tenants, subcontractors, and building operations.
- Ensure timely submission of work schedules, progress reports, and highlight issues to the HOD.
- Resolve technical or site issues during project execution and maintenance periods to prevent delays.
- Attend meetings and site inspections, assess contractors’ claims and variations, and prepare or review reports.
- Maintain proper project documentation and administration.
- Ensure compliance with workplace safety rules and regulations.
- Assist the HOD with M&E operations, site inspections, and feasibility studies for new projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-3 years of project management experience.
- Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Knowledgeable in project management processes.
- Service-oriented with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Resourceful and adaptable to changing environments.
- Effective communicator with colleagues, clients, and subcontractors.
