ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY

IMT Elite Finish is looking for a full-time Project Engineer, Automotive Manufacturing based in St. Catharines, ON.
Reporting to the General Manager, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet the highest quality standards, while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
In this position, you will be primarily responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of engineering projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams, from inception to completion.

More specifically, your responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Creating detailed project plans outlining timelines, milestones, and resource requirements
  • Providing technical expertise for evaluating and designing engineering systems, including reviewing and approving technical documentation
  • Monitoring project budgets and expenditures, ensuring adherence to financial constraints, and identifying cost-saving opportunities
  • Identifying potential risks and developing mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions
  • Implementing quality control measures, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with engineering specifications
  • Maintaining open communication with internal and external stakeholders, providing regular project updates and presentations
  • Managing project schedules to ensure timely completion of milestones and addressing any delays proactively
