Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Project Engineer with expertise in industrial refrigeration design. The ideal candidate will oversee the design, implementation, and execution of refrigeration projects, ensuring they meet technical, budgetary, and timeline requirements.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
- 3+ years of experience in industrial refrigeration or HVAC design.
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, and fluid dynamics.
- Familiarity with relevant codes and standards (e.g., ASHRAE, IIAR, OSHA).
- Excellent project management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Professional Engineer (PE) license is a plus.
Responsibilities:
- Design and Engineering: Develop detailed designs for industrial refrigeration systems, including P&IDs, layouts, and component selection.
- Project Management: Coordinate all aspects of project execution, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation.
- Technical Analysis: Perform load calculations, system simulations, and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
- Vendor Coordination: Work with vendors to specify equipment and materials, ensuring compatibility with design specifications.
- Collaboration: Partner with internal teams, including sales, procurement, and construction, to deliver successful project outcomes.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols.
- Documentation: Prepare comprehensive project reports, manuals, and as-built drawings.
- Client Interaction: Communicate with clients to understand their requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns.
