To further our strategic business growth, we are looking for a passionate Project Engineer to join our United Kingdom team.
The new colleague will be working within the Project Engineering Department, observing technical compliance, keeping a constant relation with the subcontractors, and providing supervision to assure that project’s milestones are achieved.

How the ideal candidate would be?

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Mechanical Engineering/Project Management
  • Good English speaking and writing skills are a must
  • Open to relocating to different parts of the UK for varying durations to accommodate project needs, mainly NW-UK
  • Advanced Diploma of Mechanical Engineering or equivalent (mechanical preferred)
  • Modelling skills for plant layout, piping/mechanical design and detailing
  • Experience with multidisciplinary coordination
  • Advanced time management, analytical and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient in the use of 2D and 3D CAD systems
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Project represent advantage

What are the responsibilities?

  • Reviewing the project specifications to define process requirements
  • Creating 2D/3D design for the piping systems, production lines, packaging systems or other mechanical equipment, applying clean design principles that help maximize safety and performance of the process line.
  • Reviewing the project specifications to define process requirements
  • Meet with the client or other consultants to gain a clearer understanding of what type of design is needed
  • Prepare and complete action plans
  • Determine system improvements, implementing change, quality assurance
  • Create, verify and validate all Material Take Off (MTOs).
  • Present reports defining project progress, problems and solutions
  • Constantly monitor and report on progress of the project to all stakeholders
