Privately owned for over 45 years, and now one of the UK’s leading & multi award winning Engineering companies, WEC is looking to recruit an experienced and enthusiastic Project Engineer to join our busy and expanding team based in Darwen, Lancashire.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE
- Knowledge and experience of AutoCAD
- Proven engineering and fabrication knowledge/experience
- Ability to read and work from detailed engineering drawings
- Computer literate
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise closely with customers
- Ability to work under pressure, both on own initiative and as part of a busy team
- Ability to handle multiple varied projects from order through to completion
- Responsible, conscientious, punctual, highly organized, and self-motivated
Responsibilities:
Essential:
- Ability to read and work from detailed engineering drawings noting this will form part of the interview process.
- Good all-round engineering and fabrication background.
- Preparing, schedule and monitoring assigned engineering projects.
- Generating Autocad manufacturing drawings for customer approval.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to liaise closely with key account clients over multiple projects.
- Manage the projects from initial enquiry to completion.
- Knowledge of all welding methods and techniques.
- Full driving licence.
Desirable:
- CPCS and/or CSCS accreditation.
- Previously worked within the security industry.
- PAF accreditation.
