THE PROJECT

CPB Contractors along with our industry partners, have been appointed as an Alliance to deliver the Main South Road and Victor Harbor Road duplication projects, with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport located in Adelaide, South Australia. This is known as the Fleurieu Connect Alliance.
Your Opportunity
We are looking for a Project Engineer who is a multi-skilled team player to join our team in Tatachilla. You will be an integral member of the project team by effectively coordinating design, procurement and construction elements focusing on various packages. Your skills and determination will help deliver this important transport infrastructure project.

Your responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • Managing and monitoring the completion of the project to ensure programme, budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved safely, taking prompt corrective action where required
  • Reviewing design and construction plans, schedules, temporary works designs, method statements and job safety analysis and quality
  • Effectively assigning tasks to project team members to deliver the required outputs to agreed specifications
  • Monitoring KPIs and productivity analysis against programme and budget as well as undertaking other administrative duties as required

Responsibilities:

OUR MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS ROLE ARE:

  • Degree qualification in Civil Engineering
  • Proven engineering construction delivery experience on road infrastructure projects
  • Experience in coordination of services packages.
  • Absolute commitment to safety with everything you do a similar role
  • Demonstrated commercial experience to include planning and reporting on progress, cost and risk.
  • Subcontractor management and supervision
  • Leading, mentoring and development of a team of engineers
  • Interface with design management, construction delivery teams, client and external stakeholders
