Description:
By joining this leading innovative consulting engineering and project services business based in Geelong, you will be offered a challenging project engineer’s role in design and project implementation solutions in the dairy and food manufacturing industry in Australia. Regular travel to regional and metro client manufacturing sites is required.
The project execution model is mainly based on Engineering, Procurement, Construction and Management (EPCM). There is a requirement for regular on-site travel within regional Australia as well as opportunities for overseas work in the longer term.
Reporting to the National Operations Manager your responsibilities include will include -
- Generating design concepts and engineering drawings and managing a small technical team
- Developing tender specifications
- Liaising with senior technical directors and clients
- Formal design reviews, client coordination and sign off.
- Managing project design costs, resources, activities and schedules
- Supervising and assisting in on-site project delivery
With tertiary qualifications in either Chemical or Mechanical engineering, you will most likely have 3-5 years to project engineering experience in the dairy, food, pharmaceutical and/or brewing manufacturing and processing industries, preferably with quality engineering consulting services providers in Australia and/or New Zealand.
High level design, technical, project process engineering, commercial, customer service and communication skills are essential in the career position, along with a strong work and team ethic and a passion for quality results.
