• Follows all relevant Operations and Maintenance policies, processes and standard operating procedures so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent manner.
• Implements the day-to-day operations assigned for the Operations and Maintenance to ensure compliance with the established standards and procedures.
• Leads and directs the technician’s / operations teams within the shift to comply with the directions of the Engineering team.
• Monitors the operating conditions, identifying and responding appropriately to problems, allocating or escalating them as necessary and records their rectification.
• Maintains a log of all activities undertaken, in order to feed into team activity report and prepares periodical reports and statistics for management use.
• Controls and monitors work undertaken in order to identify any variances against agreed response times and take remedial action as necessary.
• Ensures compliance of operations under own supervision with the industry standards and requirements or regulating authorities.
