As a Project Engineer joining our Project team, you will play a crucial role in supporting project management within a collaborative environment. You will manage sub-contractors and coordinate with suppliers while ensuring project schedules are met.
- On-Site Data Support: Provide valuable on-site data to our management team, assisting in informed decision-making.
- Budget Management: Keep an eye on project costs, ensuring that we stay within budget.
- Supervise Contractors and Suppliers: Oversee subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
- Project Timeline Oversight: Take charge of project scheduling, ensuring everything stays on track.
Responsibilities:

To excel in this role, you should possess a methodical approach to work and demonstrate confidence in your planning and organizational skills. You will also need to have the legal right to work in New Zealand.
- Engineering Passion: A tertiary qualification in engineering is preferred, but a strong mechanical or electrical background is advantageous.
- Proven Project Management: Minimum of 5 years’ on-site project management experience with a track record of successful project delivery and documented evidence.
- Contractual and Commercial Acumen: Understanding of contractual and commercial matters is crucial.
- Effective Communication: Strong written and oral communication skills are essential.
- Financial Competence: Proficiency in financial management, budgeting, project scheduling, and planning is highly valued
