Description:

SUMMARY

Reporting to the Project Engineering Supervisor, the Project Engineer-in-Training (EIT) is a fundamental asset to the engineering process bringing innovation and ingenuity to the team. The successful candidate will manage a wide variety of tasks in a fast paced and dynamic environment.
With a foundation of integrity, the candidate would use commitment and creativity to drive our organization forward. This position is based out of the Enerflex Southeast Calgary office at 4700 47th St SE, Calgary.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Degree in Mechanical/Structural Engineering
  • Technical skills related to the engineering program
  • Ability to work independently
  • Strong verbal and communication skills
  • Aptitude to learn new skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Experience with AutoCAD and P&ID drawings would be an asset

Responsibilities:

Under the supervision of a Senior Engineer or an Engineering Lead, the successful candidate will:

  • Provide details of RFI (Request for Information) to assist Project Manager to come up with costs for Change Orders
  • Perform engineering calculations using Enerflex proprietary programs (sizing of vessels, lines, control valves, PSV’s, etc.)
  • Participate in the development of the P&ID and BOM to meet project scope
  • Liaise with vessel design, Procurement and Production personnel
  • Review O&M manuals and ensure accuracy
  • Review AutoCAD drawings based on client specifications
  • Communicate with clients and vendors
  • Prepare engineering documents and manuals
