Description:
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Degree in Engineering, Project Management, Construction or can prove equivalent experience within industry;
- Minimum 5 years’ experience related to an engineering role;
- Chartered engineer preferably or working towards status would be advantageous.A background in process, chemical, power generation, and oil & gas;
- Experience in contracts for both direct and subcontracted labour;
- Must be able to demonstrate an understanding of relevant Health and Safety and Environment legislation including CDM and the actions required to achieve compliance here;
- Robust Knowledge of industry processes and techniques;
- Ability to gain or have already SC clearance.
Here’s what you’ll need:
- Management and overall responsibility for work packages/and or projects;
- Maintaining programme schedule and quality deliverables are met through the project life time;
- Ensure compliance to relevant specifications and industry standards, promoting innovation and value saving to the client solution;
- Supporting design reviews and gate stages and ensure submission of relevant project documentation is submitted on time and with accordance to client requirements;
- Working with the Supply Chain Manager in providing optimal solutions through the supply chain to deliver client packages, ensuring as far as possible that works are carried out in compliance to budget and schedule;
- Develop procurement specifications and liaison with equipment vendors;
- Interact with client design and modular package providers globally to offer technical input where appropriate;
