POSITION DESCRIPTION

• Manage and monitor the delivery of the project to ensure program, budget, quality, environmental and contractual obligations are achieved safely, and prompt corrective actions where required.
• Interpret and develop Quality, Work Health & Safety and Environmental management plans and assist with compliance on a project basis.
• Manage resources in accordance with a construction program and daily activities
• Deliver quality assurance as per contractual requirements
• Ensure onsite testing and relevant project documentation is collated and stored correctly.
• Demonstrate professional communication and client relations skills
• Interpret project drawings and provide technical recommendations to the project team.
• Proven verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills with an ability to develop and maintain relationships across diverse stakeholders.
• Effectively assign tasks to project team members to deliver the required outputs to agreed specifications.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor of Engineering
• 3+ years’ experience in Civil Construction
• Experience in the delivery of Water & Wastewater and/or Road Construction Projects (DTMR)
• Relevant technical knowledge, including local and state specifications
• Strong problem-solving skills and solutions driven approach
• Relocation to, or currently reside in Cairns, Far North Queensland
