Project Engineer

QUALIFICATION

• Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant engineering discipline from an accredited university or equivalent
• Professional registration with ECSA or recognized international body

EXPERIENCE

• Minimum of 10 years in Design Engineering, with 5 years ideally in the Energy Industry
• At least 1 year of supervisory experience (leading and managing a technical team)

KNOWLEDGE:

• In-depth understanding of relevant industry, applicable Codes and Standards
• Excellent knowledge of engineering procedures and processes
• Good knowledge of performance management principles
• Understanding of Health & Safety Act, ISO 14001 and 18001
• Familiarity with conflict management techniques
• Awareness of company values and Integrated Management System (IMS)

SKILLS:

• Proficiency in computer applications (MS Office)
• Strong leadership and project management skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• High degree of analytical thinking
• Adaptability and flexibility
• Strong administrative and organizational abilities
• Technical competence within the applicable Knowledge Area

To complete engineering projects by organizing and controlling project technical elements, producing engineering outputs through execution of engineering processes, performing engineering scope control, and coordinating technical staff using the engineering plan.
