Project Engineer

If you have a genuine interest in improving factory operations and processes, we are looking for you.
You will participate in project teams for OSTP’s strategic development projects and act as project manager for projects assigned to you. You will plan, prepare and lead improvement actions in shaping the ‘future factory’ according to our strategy.
The role requires a hands-on approach and the ability to successfully complete projects. You will have a relevant engineering degree and experience in a factory environment, process development or production optimisation.
Within our group, you will be fluent in English, both orally and in writing, and have a good command of Finnish or Swedish. You are a solution-oriented and methodical person who wants to see development projects through to completion on schedule. You can listen to experts in the field and also work independently. Experience or understanding of digitalisation or quality work is an advantage. The work will be done at the Pietarsaari factory, so your role requires on-site presence, partial telecommuting is possible.
