Description:

RAM is a project delivery firm specializing in Project Management, Construction Management, Engineering and Advisory services across Canada. RAM is searching for a motivated and experienced individual in Vancouver, BC. The successful candidate will be an individual that enjoys a challenging, professional, and dynamic workplace and contributing to the success of a hardworking team.

Ideal Candidate Requirements

  • 5-10+ years of experience in project management and engineering within the pipeline industry.
  • Registered as a P.Eng. with Engineers and Geoscientists BC (EGBC);
  • Proficient and comfortable in sealing pipeline design projects.
  • Deep understanding of pipeline engineering principles, practices, and standards.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, planning, and time management skills.
  • Competent in developing and maintaining project schedules and budgets.
  • Effective communicator with clients, stakeholders, and team members.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of industry safety standards and regulations.
  • Proficient in building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Must be able to work from an office in Surrey

Responsibilities:

  • Complete pipeline and facility design and calculations in accordance with CSA Z662 and ASME B31.3.
  • Review and seal technical memorandums, engineering assessments, and drawings.
  • Liaison between various departments including Engineering, Operations, System Capacity regarding engineering designs.
  • Conduct site surveys and inspections as required.
  • Attend meetings with various stakeholders Provide technical training and guidance for engineering co-ops, EIT’s, and field personnel.
  • Develop technical specifications in accordance with Company Standards, Specifications, and project requirements.
  • Coordinate, manage, and control of all engineering related aspects of the projects including Class 3, 4, and options analysis, detailed engineering design and project closure.
  • Review and provide technical input on all RFP Packages, as well as provide technical review and advice during the bid evaluations.
  • Provide input to develop checklists and processes for use within engineering team.
