WHAT QUALIFICATIONS ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Mandatory requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, computer science or software engineering or computer science
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience managing Agile software development teams or projects in the field of avionics or military products
- Experience in designing software in the field of avionics or military products using a development and design process based on quality standards (such as DO-178C, MIL-STD-810 or MIL-STD-461)
- Proven track record of success in executing and leading complex projects requiring cost and schedule performance and risk management
- Demonstrated understanding of requirements management for software systems development
- Knowledge of Primavera or a similar project planning tool
- Strong understanding of data analysis tools and techniques; this includes the ability to collect, and analyze data in order to convey meaningful patterns and trends for presentation to management

Responsibilities:
In this project, your main responsibilities will be:
- Support engineering estimates and development plans
- Lead engineering project teams to meet budget and schedule and ensure quality products
- Maintain regularly updated engineering project plans
- Execute the technical development plan, which includes detecting and anticipating problems that could hinder or limit project objectives
- Collaborate with other departments such as program management, certification, safety and reliability, quality and manufacturing
- Maintain engineering standards and work processes
- Assess technical risk, mitigation and contingency measures
- Produce and present progress reports for management review
- Maintain technical expertise
- Support continuous product improvement and innovation
- Must thrive working under pressure and solving difficult problems
