We are looking for a Project Engineer to join our Services_APAC team in Australia .

YOUR MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Coordinate, oversee and occasionally supervise operational activities within the workshop;
• Compilation of reports on assigned projects;
• Ensure, uphold and demonstrate safe work and quality assurance practices at all times;
• Liaise with customers’ regarding estimation as appropriate;
• Liaise with vendors for technical and commercial enquiries and clarifications;
• Prepare tenders as required;
• Liaise with engineering team and coordinate reverse engineering as required;
• Project management (in-house and on-site);
• Utilizing internal resources (e.g. Office Supervisor; QESH Officer; HR) ensuring company requirements are met;
• Ensure all Company policies and procedures are communicated and implemented within designated area of control;
• Attend Safety Committee meetings in the absence of (or in lieu of) Workshop Managers;
• Participate in weekly meetings to update operations on projects;
• In addition to these functions, employees are required to carry out such other duties as may reasonably be required.

TO SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED:

• Bachelor of Electrical Engineering
• 5+ Years’ experience in Estimation / contracts & tenders
• 5+ years’ experience with Technical Report Writing
• Strong communication skills.
• Management responsibility experience (cost control, strategy, etc)
• Ability to engage and work with others.
