THE ACCOUNTABILITIES

  • Scope up project work and develop functional descriptions and specifications for quotation purposes
  • Write capex documents for submission & develop justifications for capex submissions
  • Execute project work, manage internal resources, manage external contractors, and control budgets
  • Commissioning of equipment
  • Provide technical support to the operations and the reliability teams
  • Occasional weekend work may be required during peak season

Responsibilities:

Just like you can’t make a Tim Tam without chocolate, there are a few essential ingredients we need for this role:

  • Tertiary qualifications in electrical/automation engineering or electrical trade with a minimum of 5 years experience in electrical installations, PLC programming and automation
  • Sound knowledge of AS3000 and AS4024
  • A knowledge of Allen Bradley PLCs and HMIs with the ability to interrogate PLC code and interpret electrical schematics for problem solving purposes on machinery
  • Experience in CAD software and the ability to use MS Projects for project management
  • Experience in the food, beverage or pharmaceutical industry, or other highly automated manufacturing environments would be beneficia
