QUALIFICATIONS:

Background Educational—Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering or in Scheduling; or its equivalent in combined education and experience.
Experience— One year or more experience working in a manufacturing environment.
Knowledge and Skills— Incumbents must have the aptitude to acquire the basic skills required for this position within the 3-month orientation period; full understanding of and ability to perform the work instructions given

Responsibilities:

The individual is responsible for the development, coordination and completion of projects. Designs, develops, and tests all aspects of mechanical components, equipment, and machinery. Also, applies knowledge of engineering principles to conduct studies for the design of products, instruments, controls, robots, and machines, etc. As a supporting role for the scheduling department, the main responsibility for this position is to prepare Manufacturing Orders (MO) prior to their being issued.
Instruction - Follow instructions of supervisor in completing work tasks and participate in finding solutions and improving work issues by evaluating and measuring methods. Conducts studies in operations to maximize workflow and spatial utilization.
Planning - Sets deadlines and monitors and summarizes progress of projects.
Troubleshooting - To solve problems, develop and execute objectives for self and others and have the ability to effect short-term and some long-term business goals.
Support - Assist in the coordination projects needed in order to achieve manufacturing goals. Also, support engineering checklists and assigned projects.
Maintenance – As necessary provide assistance if needed.
Reporting and Records - Prepares reports for upper management regarding projects. Also, assist in the preparation of engineering project proposals And Monitor and communicate project status, business issues, and significant developments.
Communication – Participate in contractor meetings and assist in engineering management project issues.
Assisting (Senior) Master Scheduler(s)—In order to help the Senior Master Schedulers and Master Scheduler(s) make improvements to the business and create materials, enthusiastically respond to their requests. When receiving instructions from the Master Scheduler(s) about progress maintenance, etc., actively follow their instructions and assist them in that they ask.
Issuing Bill of Materials (BOM) & Material Confirmation - From the order item information, issue a BOM for each ordered product. Confirm stocks and quantities of the parts for each item against the system. When necessary, go to the floor and actually visually confirm the inventory of the item. If there are insufficient stocks for any parts, contact the Master Scheduler(s) and Purchasing Agent(s) about this. For low stocks for a part, on warehousing day confirm with the Purchasing Agent(s) and contact the Master Scheduler(s) ( delivery response).
