Responsibilities:

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for both reactive and planned MEICA capital maintenance projects across a diverse range of sites, including water recycling, water production, sewerage and water distribution.
The value of individual projects ranges between £5,000 and £250,000 and will be based across the north of our region.

Your role will involve:

  • reviewing project risk/requirements, surveying and scoping, estimating, tendering, procurement, project delivery, supplier and contractor management, commissioning and handover
  • the production of tender documents and tender/contract negotiations
  • project financial approval, tracking and forecasting
  • working closely with our key stakeholders
  • ensuring compliance with health and safety and statutory regulations, as well as company and industry design standards and specifications
  • ensuring the delivery process accords with our policies and procedures
  • ensuring company and departmental targets are met.
