Your scope and daily tasks
Technical leadership for assigned projects under execution in collaboration with the project manager, customer facing
Technical management of a team of engineers from different disciplines (process, plant, mechanical, electrical, automation, civil, suppliers etc.)
Coordination and delegation of tasks and engineering packages within the team or to subcontractors while ensuring compliance, quality and schedule
Management of the basic and detailed design phases and preparation of technical documentation (PIDs, PFDs, data sheets and specifications, layouts, manufacturing drawings, etc.)
Handling of inquiries, clarifications and problem solving for all technical disciplines to suppliers and customers
Technical building and steering of a team of engineers alongside with the various phases of a project from kick-off to Site Acceptance
Preparation of reports and support in the preparation of offers
Your profile
Several years of relevant professional experience in the engineering team and/or in the role of technical manager in the oil and gas industry, the chemical industry or a similar Industry working on EPC
Completed technical studies in the fields of mechanical engineering/process engineering/automation/chemistry, or a comparable education with several years of relevant professional experience
Very good communication skills and teamwork in an intercultural environment
Very good MS Office skills
Skills in design software such as Plant3D or SolidWorks as an advantage
Willingness to travel
Fluent written and spoken English and German; knowledge of Italian or French is an advantage
