We are currently recruiting for a Programme Engineering Manager to join our Global Sensors & Weapons team for the delivery of class leading new and upgraded systems to a global base of customers

MAIN DUTIES:

As the key IPT (Integrated Programme Team) member for engineering for one or more of our projects, your main duties would include:

  • Engineering leadership of a multi disciplined team of technical experts, responsible for the technical development and delivery of global sensors and weapons products and services to various customers around the world.
  • Generation / Coordination of the Engineering development plans, execution against Raytheon’s standards and gating model, and aligned to the overall Programme’s needs from early bid phase through to final delivery
  • Work package management for the team including planning, tracking, and reporting of key performance indicators for the work to be performed, working collaboratively with the Programme Manager and rest of the Integrated Programme Team.
  • External technical first point of contact and liaison for key internal and external customer organisations, including regular reporting of status using agreed methods and measures
  • Close liaison with Design Authority to ensure technical integrity of programmes
  • Risk and Change Management for all engineering deliverables, including effective planning, mitigations and monitoring to reduction of risk or closure
  • Management and delivery adherence to the programme baseline schedule and costs, using ‘earned value’ techniques.
  • Direct and Indirect team management across disciplines, including resource planning, performance goal setting, reward, recognition and timesheets
