WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR:

You will bring you Master’s Degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent and Ideally 3-5 years of work experience in the industrial sector.
Good attitude for working in team and coordinating different internal stakeholders will be an asset in covering this role, in addition to your problem solving and analytical skills.
Fluency in English and a basic knowledge of Italian are essential.
Your availability for frequent business travel and international mobility, especially in the USA, will be mandatory.

ABOUT THE ROLE:

We are looking for a Project Engineering Specialist for our Engineering Department located in Alba. In this position, you will manage project for our semi-finished products machines and technologies.
The Project Engineering team is responsible for all the activities related to designing and executing industrial investment projects, providing support as a technical point of reference during project execution and ensuring the capitalization of experiences on plants, looking for opportunities and ideas for improvement.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

As Project Engineering Specialist you will execute specification design activities, defining the required technical features.
You will support the start-up of new machines and oversee the technology diffusion among plants, ensuring it meets the defined times, costs, and quality standards (e.g., service level) for each order, ensuring the transfer of know-how to the plant.
You will be responsible for the execution of industrial investment projects and act as a technical point of reference during all project execution, including safety-related matters.
One of your main tasks will be to supervise the post-implementation technical support activities of the machinery, as well as to act as a contact point for the sourcing department, providing support in defining sourcing strategies, collecting and evaluating offers, and evaluating and selecting suppliers.
You will ensure proper technical documentation for machinery and its continuous update, and the drafting of technical documentation related to the investment projects.
