Description:
EXPERIENCE
- Experienced in a similar role within public or private sector in a busy, demanding environment
- Excellent communication skills, written and oral
- Excellent project management approach
- Demonstrable experience knowledge of Office Packages, and relevant online software
- Stakeholder management and communication with diverse audiences would be an advantage
- Knowledge of BIDs / issues affecting Town Centre Management would be useful

Responsibilities:
· Develop and maintain proactive and effective relationships with a wide group of customers partners and stakeholders included but not limited to businesses BID executive board members council officers and members and wider stakeholders.
· Ensure that Bury BIDs customer relationship database is fully utilised kept up to date and maintained for every intervention made throughout our projects.
· Project task management finance and resource management. Produce and implement annual project delivery plans clearly identifying aims objectives timescales budgets tasks with associated roles and responsibilities ensuring compliance with the BID’s procurement and finance system process policy.
· Effectively manage and chair the working groups aligned to this role. Namely events and safety groups. This includes Co-ordination of regular and one-off meetings on a variety of subjects; which will include their setting up, the issuing of agendas, the gathering and issuing of background papers, the taking and issuing of minutes.
· To effectively work with partners and members to support the cycle of Levy payments each year.
· To effectively coordinate and support the roll out of a new town centre safety reporting tool that covers day and night time economies.
· To effectively support the finance and administration of the BID.
· Ensure the accurate and up to date provision of information relating to the BID, maintain the related filing systems both paper and on computer.
· Carry out administrative tasks relating to sound office management eg organising telephone & written responses, postage.
· To assist with those projects which will have significant benefits and enhance the quality, attractiveness and success of Bury Town Centre.
· To promote Bury Town Centre as a place in which to shop, visit, study, work, live, be entertained or invest.
· To attend meetings of relevant public agencies and town centre interest groups and promote partnership work between the public, private and community sectors.
· To develop and support partnership working within Bury Town Centre and across sectors.
· To promote the co-ordination of services.
· To support with the production of annual reports and annual accounts for projects.
· To liaise with private sector and public sector bodies so that the place is managed effectively during the day and at night. To develop, engage and enhance communication with businesses.
· Undertake background research on a variety of issues relevant to Bury Town Centre & the BID, and produce information for use on various projects or by various groups and external organisations.
