Project Execution & Claim Handling Engineer

We are looking for a Project Execution Engineer to be based in Bogotá, Colombia.
The Project Execution Engineer is responsible for managing the scope, time and cost of sales Company projects (capital sales), execute the installation, supervision of related services (like commissioning) and be the customer support contact line during the first stages of the sold equipment´s life cycle.

What are we looking for?

• Passionate & with proven experience managing projects of industrial equipment sold
• Experience across different industries (Food, Energy, Water, Marine, etc.)
• Customer service oriented and able to work as a bridge between the sales and operations teams

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage the projects in scope, time and cost.
• Installation and supervision of related services, like commissioning.
• Troubleshooting when needed.
• Customer support (phone / email) during the first stages of the sold equipment´s life cycle.
• Determines project needs by studying customer requirements, and performance standards.
• Determines and maintains project schedule by studying project plan and specifications, calculating time requirements and monitoring project progress.
• Maintains project data base by entering and backing up data.
• Secure proper hand over of the sold solutions to the customers.
• Develop local Suppliers for different Alfa Laval solutions, projects and services within our portfolio.

Profile: Electromechanical, Electrical, Mechanical or Chemical engineer. Must have specialization or master´s degree in project management. Project Management Professional, a plus.

Skills & Knowledge:

• Advanced/Intermediate English language proficiency.
• Knowledge of warranty process
• Field Service Support Experience (intallations, commissionings, start-ups)
• Availability to travel on short notice, up to 30% of the time

Experience: Minimum five (5) years of experience in project management and customer service. ´
This position will be local contract
